They met in November on the Bachelor in Paradise, and got engaged just a few weeks later after a whirlwind romance, and now it seems that a (televised) wedding and babies are not far off for Tara Pavlovic and Sam Cochrane ... well, that's if the latter has anything to do with it.
At the Farewell Fashion Show, hosted by Uber and the Australian Red Cross, this week in Sydney the refreshingly open and loved-up pair spoke to Fairfax Media (and sort of amongst themselves too) about how he would like to get hitched by the end of the year, while Tara, daughter of '80s dating game show Perfect Match host, Debbie Newsome, would prefer a little more time.
"The idea of planning a wedding scares me because I know there is so much to do. Like, where do I even start?" she asked.
"The location and time," Sam replied.
He continued: "I would love to have it in November to commemorate one year since our first date and first kiss on the show but that is so soon, so maybe in February or March."
Tara interjected: "November is way too soon, Sammy. Maybe we could have our engagement party then?"
Sam replied: "But I don't want to wait too long."
"I think we need a whole year," Tara replied. "I don't want to stress out doing this. I want to enjoy every moment."
While they might not be able to settle on a time or wedding size (Tara's guest list already exceeds 300. "It'll be like a mafia wedding," Sam said) the one point they can agree on is that the bachelors and bachelorettes they grew close to on their respective seasons last year, as well as those on the Bachelor in Paradise this year, will most certainly be in attendance.
Once the wedding is out of the way, babies are next on the list.
"Uh ya, I'll knock her up for sure," Sam said.
Tara replied: "I thought I was pregnant the other day, but I'm not. I did a test in secret."
"Wait, what?" Sam asked. "Don't you think you should tell the dude before you say it during an interview?"
Tara laughed: "I never told him, but P.S. babe, I'm not pregnant."
"Um, maybe you should have told me first," he said.
In a public service-esque announcement to Fairfax Media readers, he continued: "Here's a note to everyone, if you buy a pregnancy test, maybe you should let your partner know you've done that."
Unlike Sam Wood who last week shot down the idea of saying "I do" to Snezana Markoski in front of a camera crew, they are considering offers to televise their big day, but would prefer to make their next TV appearance on another Ten show, I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here.
The pair are living on the Gold Coast, but travelled to Sydney to take part in a runway show to promote the third annual Uber x Red Cross Clothing Drive that allows people to request a free Uber to pick-up your pre-loved clothes and donate them to the Red Cross on Sunday.
