Cancer Registry Project Manager

Your new company
This organisation is a leading charitable research organisation that specialises in establishing investigator-initiated clinical trials for patients with cancer. A permanent, full-time national Registry Project Manager role has become available to oversee and strategically lead their registry. This role will have the flexibility to work from home and/ or from their office in Melbourne.

Your new role
In your new role you will be:

• Developing and leading project plans, managing progress and delivery of milestones as per timelines
• Leading regular staff meetings to ensure deliverability of milestones
• Providing support to various committees
• Developing, tracking and forecasting budgets
• Leading initiatives to achieve continuous improvement
• Ensuring data integrity and quality, quality of trial processes and databases
• Implementing CAPAs for data management issues
• Developing and overseeing registry projects data management practises and driving problem solving with sites, sponsors, statisticians and other team members
• Establishing and maintaining member involvement, including liaising with international registry partners
• Overseeing and managing a Registry Data Coordinator and a Data Manager

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor of Health Science or in other relevant field(s) with working experience in developing and managing health or science data
• Clinical data and scientific data oversight experience including resource planning and financial management
• Demonstrated working experience in maintenance, review and manipulation of large data sets
• Team management experience preferred
• Familiarity with ANZ ethical, privacy and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent cross- functional stakeholder management skills
• Ideally experienced with EDC platforms and data capture design
• Excellent communication skills
• Genuine interest in improving cancer treatment
• Full working rights in Australia
