SUPPORT SERVICES TEAM LEADER - DOMESTIC SERVICES

0.8 - 1.0 FTE (negotiable)

The Memorial Hospital is a private not-for-profit 98 bed hospital which is part of the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated (ACHA) group of hospitals. We offer a range of specialties, including ENT Surgery, General Medicine, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Paediatric Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The hospital has 8 operating theatres, 8 adult bay and 15 paediatric bay day stay units.

An opportunity exists for a Support Services Team Leader - Domestic Services to provide direction, support and supervision whilst leading by example to our Domestic Services team. In addition to working with the staff on the floor, the Team Leader will also be allocated sufficient time to complete audits, staff rostering and allocation and other administrative duties.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience in managing staff
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated
• Exceptional customer service focus
• Understanding of quality and WHS standards

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of HIMCR principles
• Sound computer skills

All staff require a DCSI Working with Children Clearance prior to commencing.
