THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a Facility Manager to join the City team. The role reports to the National Facilities Operations Manager and will require the successful candidate to work on-site at a Distribution Centre in a 3PL environment at our Coles Distribution Centre in Smeaton Grange.

Your key responsibilities will see you

  • Lead day to day facilities management on site both hard and soft services
  • Ensure OH&S requirements are met and adhered to at all times
  • Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies
  • Project management and continuous improvements in plant efficiencies
  • Overview of Asset Planning and Budget preparation
  • Dealing with reactive and preventative maintenance and schedules
  • Managing contractors and City Technicians

To be considered for this role

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced environment – Highly Regarded
  • Relevant qualifications and or certificates or a trade background - Favorable
  • Experience managing a facility within a warehousing or manufacturing environment - Desirable
  • Have previously managed budgets, setting forecasts and number savvy
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Driven to succeed and highly customer centric
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
