At Hays Specialist Recruitment we play a major role in supporting several remote camp sites in South Australia. Our clients have developed service solutions for remote sites to meet its clients' needs for comfort, safety and well-being at each stage of their projects.

Your new role
We supply staff to sites as small as 100 bed campsites up to 2000 bed campsites. These mixed utility positions are available as part of the large casual roster we run and candidates could be required to work across several different departments that includes Day Shift and Night Shift. The departments requiring staff include the below:

• General COVID cleaning
• Housekeeping
• Mine Site cleaning
• Industrial Laundry
• Kitchen Hand/Assistance
• Food Preparation
• Dining room attendance
• Dining room sanitation
• BAR Service

What you'll need to succeed

• You MUST have previous experience in a similar role, remote work and past fly in fly out experience will be highly regarded.
• You will be required to get a full Police Clearance, and provide 2 contactable references .
• A current Australian Driving Licence is preferred (or EU equivalent).
• You must be flexible and be willing to work across all departments including day and night shift.

All roles are a 10 to 12 hour shift so all candidates will be expected to undertake and pass an extensive pre-employment medical and instant drug and alcohol test. Successful candidates must be based in South Australia as all flights leave from Adelaide airport.

What you'll get in return
As part of our casual roster we offer excellent pay and conditions on the remote mining camp site that we service. This is an opportunity to do Fly In, Fly Out shifts of 1 and 2 weeks at a time in remote locations (flying out of Adelaide Airport only). All flights, accommodation and food is paid for while you are away on site. Accommodation consists of your own room with ensuite facilities and most sites have a gym, pool and other recreational facilities available for all residents to use.
