Financial Accountant

Fuse Recruitment are currently on the look for a Financial Accountant to join our team.

Our proudly Australian owned and operated Food manufacturing company operates from a purpose-built, Quality-accredited food manufacturing facility in Mawson Lakes, with a focus on using locally grown produce and supporting local business. To exceed our customer's expectations, with our passion for quality, innovation, freshness, and value. We are offering a short-term contract within our Finance dept. Come join our team!

About the role:

As a Financial Accountant, you will be reporting to Financial Controller with direct access to CFO, whilst supporting the finance team within the company. This role is a 6 to 8 weeks temp contract.

Key responsibilities include:

• Aid in preparation of budget
• Calculating and raising consequential claims (i.e. when a product doesn't arrive in spec from our suppliers, we raise a claim)
• Aiding in insurance claims for significant damages
• Supporting AP/AR as necessary
• Working with finance team to close month end
• Ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant (accounting, Finance and or Business)
• Qualified CA or CPA
