With an increase in workload, they are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Handyman to join their team with the potential pathway to permanent employment in the future.

Your new role
Working under the direction of the site supervisor, your new role as a Handyman will be diverse and rewarding. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: maintaining lawns, landscaping, safe operation of hand and power tools and facilities maintenance. This is role is ongoing, with a rotating roster.

Paid travel can be discussed for successful candidates located in the Cairns region.

What you'll need to succeed
The following skills and qualifications will lead to your success in this role:

• Strong background in maintenance, carpenter TA or groundskeeping
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent Communication skills
• White Card
• Have a keen eye for detail and high standard of workmanship
• Driver’s Licence
• You are self-motivated, have a can-do attitude and are a team player
• Strong knowledge and understand of WH&S policies and procedures
