Your new company
Working for a leading Global Luxury Retailer with a number of quite amazing and well known brands and labels under their name. Sydney CBD based, full time and reporting to the locally based HR Manager.

Your new role
You will take on a newly created role to support the HR Manager in all areas of BAU HR work as well as more strategic people programs and development and delivery of HR processes. As this is a new team in Sydney key areas will include:

  • HR administration, contract production, HR policy development, review and implementation in inline with global and local legislation
  • Employee relations and advise and supporting the retail workforce on performance and entitlements
  • Payroll coordination ( minimal ), HR reporting and analysis; remuneration and benefits
  • You will also take on recruitment support work, help onboard new employees and work with the global TA centre of excellence
  • You will get involved in the delivery of people and culture activities including engagement strategies, talent management, succession planning and talent development.
  • As the brand grows further well-being and D&I initiatives will also be a day to day part of the role.

What you'll need to succeed
You MUST have experience of working in a Retail industry be that in a fashion, beauty or global luxury brand, or a more well established ASX Listed or privately owned label. You will be passionate about HR, enjoy working in fast paced and commercially focused teams and have a great communication style. You will have experience of using an HRIS previously or currently. Exposure to WHS or RTW would be advantageous but not essential. You will be a team player and enjoy variety. As the business establishes their HRIS systems and processes, you wont mind a bit of ambiguity and change as things evolve. Ideally you will already be operating as an HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor and have 3 - 5 years tenure in HR.
