Our client is a leader within the Transport and Logistics space.

Job Description

Responsible for the profitable growth of market share through the maintenance, monitoring and development of the Organisation's services. You will be responsible for the following:

• Achieving growth in new business sales, increasing turnover as well as Gross Profit for the Branch and Company.
• Managing an efficient sales program and developing a sales pipeline to ensure consistency in business growth.
• Using excellent communication skills to conduct presentations and win customers.
• Ensuring that sales targets and budgeted revenue and gross profits are met and maximised
• Delivering on exceptional customer service to ultimately achieve sales growth and increase gross profit
• Managing both internal and external stakeholders with an efficient and effective sales process.

The Successful Applicant

• Must have 3-5 years experience working within a logistics environment, preferably shipping
• Experience of working with a portfolio of 40 key accounts worth over $50millionAUD, ideally within the logistics space
• Evidence of working with a budget of $3 million AUD in New Business Growth
• Ability to create own effective internal sales strategy and discipline with a 'self-starter' mentality
• Must have experience and understanding of working with logistics customer base at an operational level
• Excellent sales, presentation and negotiation skills, with a will to learn.
