The Technology Solution Delivery, Financial Services team is in a substantial growth phase, and as a result we are looking for a Manager - Solutions Architect to join our successful and growing team in Melbourne or Sydney.

You will focus on assisting organisations with broad services from business architecture, design and delivery for small to large implementation programs.

Your key responsibilities

You will work with our insurance clients to deliver solutions across the insurance technology eco-system, including focusing on the following areas:

• Help clients define target state functional solutions through insightful analysis, development of appropriate solution architectures or frameworks, cost estimations and roadmap
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams (consisting of internal and client team members) in an advisory or delivery engagement
• Lead functional analysis, design and implementation of User Stories
• Lead and direct development of critical user stories or enhancements
• Lead or direct issue/defect triage as part of problem ticket and incident management during implementation
• Lead or co-ordinate development, as part of or as a whole, of an appropriate engagement sprint plan (advisory or delivery)

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 5 years in financial services consulting experience, including the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of the general insurance process value chain and lifecycle and supporting technologies
• Experience in delivering Guidewire Claimcenter including integrations so external applications
• Experience in strategic target state development and large-scale core system implementation program delivery
• Demonstrated experience in developing and leading a multi-disciplinary team
• Effective communication and relationship skills
• A result orientated and commercially customer focused mindset
