About Our Client

Our client is an independent investor, developer and manager of large infrastructure projects across Australia. They have a significant portfolio of assets across Australia and other locations.

Job Description

• Leading a specific bid workstream (e.g. debt, equity, commercial) and be responsible for all deliverables associated with that workstream
• Management and mentoring of team
• Supporting the management of risk allocation situations and issues between contractors, clients and capital
• Working as a member of the Origination team on the identification and origination of suitable project financing transactions
• Negotiating complex financial or commercial structuring terms for infrastructure transactions
• In-depth Financial Model review
• Supervision and sign-off on Analysts / Associates undertaking financial modelling of transactions
• Liaising with financial institutions and external service providers
• Ongoing management of client and third-party relationships across both the public and private sectors

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will be a senior leader from a financial services background.

• You will have several years of relevant industry experience (e.g., a financial, legal, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline)
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a financial, legal, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline
• Specific experience in risk allocation, structuring and bid processes
• Understanding of financial structures and commonly used debt and equity instruments
• Ability to understand financial models
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and lead teams yourself
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with C suite clients
