Reporting to the Head of Distribution Centres you will lead andmanage a team of Facilities Managers across 11 Distribution Centre (DC) sitesin Australia. National Operations Manager (NOM) will be responsible for thedelivery of the Performance, MHE, Automation, Engineering and ContinuousImprovement initiatives and their strategic aims and/ or deliverables withinthe facilities management space. 

The NOM will have overallresponsibility at a national level for the financial planning and budgetmanagement of the DC sites, workplace health safety and continuous improvementstrategies related to the safe and efficient operation of the facilities. Aswell as these areas of ownership, the NOM will report to the GM of DistributionManager working as collective to provide operational excellence through engagedteam,  spend analysis of assets and providingworld class service to the partner. 

The NOM will be the keyescalation point for all 10 FMs as well as having overall responsibility fortheir personal and professional development in technical and non-technicalareas. It is imperative that the successful candidate create and maintain veryclose working relationships with the Coles National Facilities Manager, Head ofstates and the  Distribution CentreManagers. as well as their FMs, in accordance with the City Partnership model.We share the same goals and work as one team.

This involves managing all operational areas of the business to meet the KPI’s stated in the Scope of Works (SOW) between City and Coles Logistics and any other KPI’s as set by the business. 

The successful individual into this role will be people focused, goal orientated and willingness met & exceed all targets.  The business is one that is mature and the person in this roll will be taking the facility service to the next level.
