We have a unique opportunity where we are re-designing our Business Operations team to support our ‘next generation’ Canberra team. We want to co-design this with you as part of the central leadership team.

AECOM have the flexibility to suit you. Do you want Full-Time? Part-Time? School Hours? It’s all up to you!

In this role there are elements of facilities management, change management, financial reporting, client experience, creative document design and management of business operations. We will custom design a position description for you and then build additional team members around you and your career drivers.

As a right hand to our Area Manager, this is a critical role to the success of our office. It’s a highly visible, people-facing role where you will be leading from the front. Minimum Requirements

You will have strong administration experience, ideally in a professional services consulting environment. Above all, you will have a friendly and outgoing personality and be someone that enjoys supporting others.

  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages

  • Understanding of office systems and experience interfacing with IT support.

  • Experience in managing office finance and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders

  • Ability to drive outcomes, prioritise tasks and the flexibility to adapt to change

  • A confident communicator and willingness to take the lead, build relationships and communicate with all levels of the business

  • Ability to innovate, problem solve and contribute to activities to improve the efficient operation of the office

  • A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment

  • Experience in developing and/or implementing new procedures and the ability to drive adherence and ensure best practice

  • Basic knowledge of WHS responsibilities and requirements – or willingness to learn

  • Relevant qualification is preferred
