Operational Technology Manager

Hays are currently working with a leading company in the energy sector with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high quality services to a large customer base.

Your new role
In this role, you will be integral for leading a team of technical specialists responsible for the support and maintenance of operational systems. You will act as the conduit between the IT delivery teams as well as operational teams to ensure business outcomes are being delivered on.

You will be responsible for service assurance and making sure that agreed support levels, change and delivery processes are being followed. You will be collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and use your outstanding communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role, managing operational technology maintaining and supporting highly critical systems within a complex enterprise environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams
• Demonstrated experience in performance reporting and tracking against SLAs
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology or Engineering, ideally with and understanding of System Control
• Understanding of Distribution Management Systems desirable
