We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to drive sales growth across the sales and service business within the Danfoss Drives segment, ensuring an increasing market share through direct & indirect channels within the Pacific region. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be strategically agile and assume full responsibility for the product range and the management of sales, service and sales operation teams. You will lead all strategic sales activities to ensure growth in revenue and margins. So if you are seeking a rewarding and challenging leadership position, then this position is for you! Job Responsibilities Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following. Provide overall leadership and responsible for driving profitable growth targets, market share development and stimulating new business within the segment Develop and implement sales and service strategies to achieve financial targets for the region. Execute and drive end-to-end sales cycles and provide accurate reporting and forecasts. Execute focused plans for strategic markets where we can grow faster and profitably Based on market intelligence, analyses market development potential; define targets for customer groups. Drive business within the defined fixed expense frames and optimise and develop profitability. Responsible for overall customer experience and perception of Danfoss, as measured in the Customer Loyal Index (CLI) through the delivery of our brand promise and corporate initiatives. Strengthen leadership capabilities of sales managers within the area, improve financial result orientation in the management team and develop a motivated and performance-driven organisation. Ensure the sales team have the tools and resources needed to be successful, such as product training and literature, negotiation training, etc. Plan events to build excitement and camaraderie within the sales team. Increase the productivity of the sales organisation. Recruit, hire, train and manage a strong team of sales staff to capture market share. Responsible for building relationships at executive levels, with industry and institutional influencers as well as representing the Company in public, and private affairs and enhancing employer branding in the local market. Work with regional segment teams to deliver the best possible value proposition and ensure common alignment on strategies, forecasting and business processes. Work with internal support functions to ensure the level of service to customers continues to improve. Background & Skills The ideal candidate possesses these skills. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management 10+ years of prior experience in a similar role working with direct and indirect channels within the Electrical/Drives Industry. Proven track record of successfully leading sales team in a B2B environment. Basic knowledge of Electrical/Drive technologies Experience leading a culturally diverse team.
