Your new opportunity at Nine.

The Sales team as part of the Nine Commercial Programmatic team is a vital component of the broader Nine organisation. With the digital ecosphere quickly pivoting to a world in which automation powers all inventory bought and sold, the Nine Commercial Programmatic team is responsible for generating sales revenue & maintaining external relationships with buyers.

As a Sales Executive for Nine, you will be responsible for campaign/deal sales across the Nine portfolio of Video, Display and Audio online assets, working across a client base of national brands. In this diverse role, your primary function will be to support the Group Business Manager while working collaboratively with external stakeholders such as Agency Trade Desks, Media and Advertising agencies as well as internal stakeholders across the business.

Job Description

Day to day you will: 

  • Develop the revenue generated from the clients within your assigned patch through brief responses, proactive opportunities and analysis
  • Identify success of campaigns through cross selling/up-selling opportunities
  • Carry out campaign & deal negotiation for efficient Programmatic buying as well as customer satisfaction
  • Monitor delivery and proactively act on performance and progress against client goals
  • Forecast targets aligned with company objectives
  • Work with the Account Executive to generate, analyse and deliver ad hoc, end of campaign and quarterly delivery reports
  • Conduct proactive post analysis of advertising campaigns (in association with Programmatic Operations) to ensure continuous improvement 
  • Meet deadlines and quality measures in relation to preparing proposals and presentations for campaign briefs and meetings
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Trade Desks, Agencies and Clients

Whether your Digital Sales experience has been on the Publisher or Agency side, you are a true Sales Professional who truly understands the media landscape, and consistently delivers results. 

You communicate in a clear, timely and consistent manner, and are confident in interacting effectively at all levels. You can plan, organise and coordinate multiple projects and priorities with attention to quality and detail, so that results are delivered and deadlines are met.You are a proactive team player who is always willing to share information with the team and stakeholders in a positive way. 

What we would like to see on your resume:

  • Extensive experience in Digital Sales or Planning, on either the Publisher or Agency side
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and hit targets through brief responses, proactive opportunities and analysis
  • Experience with Programmatic Sales would be advantageous but is not essential
