Your new role

As the Senior Operations Risk Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Adhering to Operational risk obligations.
• Reporting on Operational risk and control profiles, issues, incident, remediation and other matters.
• Producing accurate risk reporting and analytics to the relevant risk committees.
• Providing risk analysis, insights and advice (credit risk and technology risk).
• Acting as an integral part of the Risk Management Team.
• Support the Control Assurance Program by providing analytical testing, review and challenge of key controls.
• Review the regulatory economic, competitor and emerging risk environment and analyse the impacts on the organisation.
• Build strong working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders including regulators.
• Ad hoc projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry would be highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated background in Operations Risk Management.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of APRA, ASX and ASIC regulations and legislation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
• Excellent report writing skills plus a commitment to process improvement.
• A Bachelor of Business/Finance/Economics/Law/Data Analytics or other relevant discipline.
