The Client

Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems and supplier of additional sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles providing innovative and custom-engineered solutions to deliver local market requirements. Taking pride in servicing, maintaining, refurbishing, and upgrading their rail and mining products.

 
About the role:

Reporting to the Work Supervisor at their Paget facility an excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, service focused and hard-working warehouse person to join their team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods.
• Picking, packing and despatch of goods.
• Completion of associated paperwork.
• Inventory management though SAP software
• Stocktakes and stock management.
• Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods.

 
About you – Skills and experience:

• Current Forklift Ticket essential.
• Current drivers’ licence and own reliable transport required.
• Experience in the Rail or Heavy Plant or similar background will be highly regarded.
• A strong work ethic.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Motivation to provide high quality service delivery.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Participate as a willing and productive member of the team.
• Good computer skills. (SAP experience Advantageous)
• Commitment to improving product knowledge and other skills in the industry.
