Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and Commercial technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber Domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Project Manager to join their team based in Brisbane.

Your new role
In your role as the Technical Support Project Manager, you will evaluate, coordinate, and solve internal technical project support tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring clear responsibility for management and performance of the technical interface
  • Acting as the primary conduit for technical support tasks enabling the ISS Support System in providing service outcomes to ISS Programs
  • Working with all internal stakeholders, including logistics, engineering, maintenance, supply, field service, and program management to establish resolution to issues.
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports on action items, tasks, and request statuses to ensure high visibility on all activities
  • Monitoring and reporting on tasks, issues, and RFI statuses ensuring required response times are met
  • Developing and owning policy, process, and procedures for effective technical support outcomes
  • Managing historical data requests in a single data repository, available to ISS stakeholders as a common source database

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in Technical Support Project Manager or Configuration Manager role within the Defence Industry. You will also possess:

  • Technical background knowledge
  • Logistics background
  • ASDEFCON experience
  • Knowledge on the handling of export-controlled data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A team focused approach to their work

Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a Baseline security clearance or higher.
