Clear pecking order emerges in week three of the Shares Race

Week three of the four-week Shares Race sees the establishment of a clear pecking order at the top, following last week when hardly anything separated the first-three placeholders last week.

Angie Ellis of 20/20 Investments is clearly in the top spot. Though her portfolio value is virtually unchanged from last week,  second and third placeholders have slipped back.

Galilee Energy, the Brisbane-based oil and gas explorer, held by all three leaders is responsible for their lead over the rest of the field.

Galilee has come back to $21,389 from $24,167 last week but is still the best-performing stock tip of all.

Mendy Amzalak of AMZ Capital has overtaken Richard Pritchard, who plays as the Chartist, to hold second spot.

Amzalak's total portfolio is worth $117,247 from $123,019 last week, with Opus Group and Asia Pacific Digital playing valuable supporting roles to Galilee Energy.

Ellis’s pick of Dropsuite, a "cloud data back-up platform for small and medium businesses", is now worth $19,828 from $17,241 last week.

Richard Pritchard's pick of Adriatic Metals is proving a volatile ride.

Pritchard is having a roller coaster ride with Adriatic Metals, the UK company that holds mining concessions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pritchard’s original $10,000 in the stock was worth $17,500 in week two and is now worth $12,969.

As of the close on Thursday, the cut-off for the shares race, the market was virtually unchanged with the S&P/ASX 200 finishing the week at 6,216 points.
