An elderly pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Weston last night.

The 95-year-old man was walking across Macnally Street near the intersection of Namatjira Drive at about 6.45pm when the collision occurred.
Ambulance crews took the man to The Canberra Hospital, but he died early this morning. His death takes the ACT road toll to 11 for the year.
The driver of the car remained at the scene to assist police with their investigation.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner, and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision and are yet to speak to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website. Information can be provided anonymously.
