The deal will see OnTheGo expand on its partnership with Anytime in Australia by supplying more than 30 individual apparel products to clubs across Singapore, China, India, Japan, Malaysia and The Philippines.
Founded in 2010 in the garage of Canberra entrepreneur Mick Spencer, Sports sells custom made sportswear to sporting teams, health clubs, hotels, education organisations and governments around the world.
The company has grown using a specialised online design system and integrated production and supply processes.
Mr Spencer and sales manager Alicia Shepard completed the deal during last week's ACT trade delegation to Singapore, led by ACT Treasurer Andrew Barr and supported by the Canberra Business Council.
The pair worked on site in Singapore to train Anytime Fitness staff about OnTheGo's clothing products and technical accessories.
OnTheGo already has an office in the southern Chinese business capital of Shenzhen.
"We are so excited to have this partnership with Anytime Fitness Asia," Mr Spencer said.
"It ticks a big item off our strategy to be a supplier to over 50 per cent of the world’s health club market. We know what works, and our products will be a big key to Anytime Fitness’s brand development."
Mr Spencer said Canberra businesses were helping to improve the lives of the world's poor by doing business across borders. His company supports international children's charities to promote health and physical exercise.
The company aims to get one million children involved in sport by 2025.
"We partner with humanitarian organisations to activate programs to engage children in sport programs, that not only enables them to get active, but that also make a meaningful difference in their lives," he said.
"This contract alone is expected to provide yet another 5,000 children with a chance to play sport over the next 12-month period."
Canberra IT firm Intelledox was the biggest winner from the trade delegation, signing a new deal to partner with business giant Fuji Xerox to market its software.
Fuji Xerox will become an authorised reseller of Intelledox’s Infiniti product in the Asia-Pacific market.
Anytime Fitness Asia chief operating officer Hugh Gyton said OnTheGo's internal systems and experience were key to the deal.
“OnTheGo are an experienced vendor partner of Anytime Fitness in Australia and come to us with high quality apparel, excellent online ordering systems, and a tested distribution channel.”
“They also have great alignment with our values – they’re committed to making a difference to people’s health and wellness,” Mr Gyton said.
Anytime Fitness has more than two million members across 17 countries.
Mr Barr will return from further travel to Hong Kong and China this week.
