Our spate of sunshine looks set to continue this week, with a top of 17 degrees expected and some light winds to kick along the autumn leaves.
Time to dive into today's headlines:
'As rough as it can get': More Canberrans sleeping out
As another Canberra winter rolls in, our thoughts often turn to those doing it tough.
A new report out today shows that, while the overall number of Canberrans experiencing homelessness fell by 8 per cent between 2011 and 2016, the number of people sleeping rough grew from 28 to 54.
Blake Foden spoke to one of the report's authors, who says the figures are a real cause for concern.
New CSIRO lab to pioneer augmented reality research arrives in Canberra
We took a look around the CSIRO's new immersive environments lab on Black Mountain, unveiled on Monday.
It's home to wearable holographic tech, spatial cameras, 3D object scanners and more - and the CSIRO says it will redefine industries and change the way people interact with the digital world.
Blake Foden has the details.
Renewable power for Ginninderry comes with air pollution concerns
It seems like an oxymoron. Energy efficient homes could come with a costly air pollution pricetag, according to the Environment Protection Authority.
The ACT government recently announced a trial in which 350 houses at Ginninderry would scrap gas power in favour of all-electric energy.
But the EPA, which supports the plan in-principle, has cautioned it could lead to houses instead burning solid fuel for heat and thereby polluting the air.

Convicted lecturer suffered mental impairment at time of offences, court told
A former University of Canberra law lecturer convicted of sexually assaulting students suffers from brain damage that explains much of his behaviour towards the women, his lawyers argued on Monday.
Arthur Marshall Hoyle, 68, was found guilty last year of raping one student, making unwanted advances on two others and showing another a pornographic PowerPoint slide. But this week Hoyle is appealing both the conviction and his jail sentence.

Australia's favourite maths teacher Eddie Woo lands in Canberra schools
Not many people get recognised on the street as a "maths teacher".
But with a growing international following, acclaimed educator Eddie Woo is on a mission to "make maths cool again".
Stay with him on this. He can do pretty awesome tricks with a deck of cards.
I sat in on Eddie's class at Hawker College on Monday (and nodded along at the right places - I think).
