There were major traffic delays in the area after the incident, which happened just before 7pm.

An Emergency Services Agency spokesperson said one of the cars collided with a set of traffic lights at the intersection.
Paramedics assessed one person at the scene, but they did not need to go to hospital, the spokesperson said.
