Police have released footage of thief threatening staff with what appears to be a gun and a long knife during an aggravated robbery of the Mawson Club on August 8.
CCTV footage shows the man threaten two staff members with what looked likes a gun and leading one of them into a room where he appears to demand they open the safe.
While the staff member turns to take money out of the safe, the thief is seen holding up a long knife.
At one point, the staff member shoots his hands up in the air after the knife gets extremely close to him.
ACT Policing said the staff members complied with the man's demands for cash before he ran away through the back of the building and into the car park, carrying a red cooler bag.
The man was dressed in all-black except for his white gloves.
He is described as of a solid build, about 186cm (6'1") tall with an Australian accent.
Witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
