Tying the knot in the National Gallery of Australia's beautiful sculpture garden and then indulging in a three-course reception for 100 of your nearest and dearest guests in the Gandel Hall are just the start.
A more than $25,000 wedding package is up for grabs from the gallery. And anyone can enter to try to win it.
The prize includes a wedding co-ordinator, bridal suite at the Realm Hotel, ceremony location, garden games, pre-dinner drinks and canapes and, of course, a wedding cake.
It's part of the gallery's Love and Desire: Pre-Raphaelite Masterpieces from the Tate exhibition, which opens on December 14.
The competition is open for anyone in Australia to win the fully-catered wedding on Saturday, March 2.
The bridal party will also score an exclusive tour of the exhibition, which includes masterpieces from the Pre-Raphaelite movement, many of which have never been seen in Australia before.
To enter, tell the gallery your love story in 100 words or less at https://nga.gov.au/lovedesire/win.cfm by Wednesday, January 2. The winners will be announced on the gallery's Facebook page on Wednesday, January 9.
National Gallery of Australia assistant director Alison Wright said the wedding competition was part of celebrating the romance of the Love and Desire exhibition.
"Inspire us with love and romance," she urged any potential brides and grooms.
"Tell us the great love story that has brought two people together and why getting married at the NGA means something to them.
"The Pre-Raphaelite paintings sweep you up with their enormous beauty, so it fits perfectly with getting married and all the feelings you have at a wedding."
Canberra couple Chris and Margot are among those who can already vouch for the NGA as a wedding venue, having been married there in March this year.
"Looking back, we couldn't imagine having it at any other location," they said.
"Our ceremony was held on the lawns beside the sculpture garden. It was so lovely and green, and
you can see all of those iconic Canberra views of the Carillon and Lake Burley Griffin."
Ms Wright said the exhibition would capture a summer of romance in Canberra, continuing into autumn and closing on April 28.
"Before we even open the doors, I think it already is a blockbuster with the amazing paintings that are coming and I think people are going to be really surprised by their immense beauty," she said.
"I was in London at the Tate in September, and the paintings are just luminous, incredibly exquisite. Our expectations are that the exhibition will do fantastically and do what it usually does and bring people to Canberra to have a really great experience."
