According to Food Standards Australia New Zealand, the affected products are 700-millilitre bottles, bottled in Australia by G J Wholesale.
The recalled products are Verushka Vodka, Mississippi Bourbon, Los Cabos Tequila, Yachtsman White Rum, Mudgee Rum, Barman's Choice Whiskey, Hunter Brandy and Her Choice Gin.
A recall notice on the Food Standards Australia New Zealand website says consuming the products may result in illness.
Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers who have bought the affected products should return them to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.
The bottles were also available for sale in NSW and Queensland.
