A Canberra man will fight allegations of drug dealing after police found a book titled the “Cocaine Diaries” in his apartment last Wednesday.

The book contained Blackberry device codes, documents tendered in court on Monday allege.
During the raid on James Cole’s Phillip flat police also allegedly found a handwritten drug recipe, cocaine, Inositol (a known cutting agent for cocaine), knuckledusters and more than $100,000 in cash.
There was no one home at the time of the raid but Mr Cole, 34, was arrested at Canberra Airport after getting off a flight on Sunday. On Monday, he pleaded not guilty to the charges in the ACT Magistrates Court.
He told police he works as a mechanic.
Mr Cole’s application for bail was opposed by prosecutors but his lawyer, Michael Kukulies-Smith, argued for Mr Cole’s release while he answered the charges.
He was granted bail by Special Magistrate Margaret Hunter.
Mr Cole is charged with drug trafficking, money laundering and possession of a prohibited weapon. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He is due back in court in January.
