The ACT Magistrates Court on Monday heard Axel Sidaros, 24, will make a bid for bail later this month.

Mr Sidaros has pleaded not guilty to 14 charges, including attempted murder, arson, firearm possession, trespass, discharging a firearm at a building, and intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Mr Sidaros has been in custody since his arrest in September at Melbourne Airport, where he had been attempting to board an international flight to Abu Dhabi.

The court heard on Monday the defence had received the brief of evidence and the defendant intended to apply for bail at his next appearance.

Police have alleged the attack was part of a bikie feud in the ACT after an internal split in the Comanchero chapter earlier this year.

Police say the Canberra Comancheros had split into two blocs, with one faction then cutting ties with the Comanchero and linking up with the Finks.

Mr Sidaros is alleged to be one of four Comanchero-linked men who attacked the Calwell home of the club’s former ACT chapter president about 10.45pm on June 28.

Footage of the incident, published by ACT Policing in a bid to identify the other attackers, shows three men – two armed with a handgun and shotgun – scaling the rear fence of the home, before opening a garage roller door for a fourth man.

It is alleged Mr Sidaros is the man carrying the shotgun.

Petrol is being poured on three vehicles when the armed men spot rival, Peter Zdravkovic, inside the home.

A firefight breaks out, and police allege Mr Zdravkovic armed himself with a rifle and returned fire.

A court has previously heard Mr Zdravkovic lost a finger during the exchange.

The attackers fled in a stolen vehicle after setting three cars ablaze, but stop down the road to pump three bullets into a second house linked to the target.

Mr Zdravkovic, 36, has pleaded not guilty to firearm and drug charges.

Mr Sidaros will reappear in court later this month.
