Led by the Raad family from The Cook Grocer, "Celebrate Cook'' will be a twilight family market to celebrate "all the things that make our community unique''.
It's also 15 years since the Raad family purchased the Cook supermarket, giving reason for a double celebration.
Celebrate Cook will showcase the history of the suburb and its people while celebrating the present with Canberra’s producers, makers and our community. That includes blowing out the candles for The Cook Grocer’s 15th birthday.
Celebrate Cook will be on Saturday from 2pm to 7pm under the gums, Cook Place, Cook.

Entry to the event will be by gold coin donation, with proceeds going to Emma Ruby House in Cook, a respite centre built by the Ricky Stuart Foundation.
