ACT Policing are seeking witnesses after a 75-year-old man had his car stolen at gunpoint in Bonython on Thursday.

At around 6:25pm the elderly man parked his dark grey Mercedes Benz C250 in the driveway of a Bonython home.
Police said a man, about 30-years-old, of average build, standing about 178 centimetres tall and in a hooded jumper approached the car armed with a pistol.
After the victim got out of the car the man allegedly struck him in the face before stealing his wallet and fleeing in the Mercedes, police said.
The victim suffered deep cuts to his face and was treated in hospital.
Police are urging anyone that may have information or dash-cam footage to come forward. Any footage taken between the Isabella Plains shops and Bonython from 6pm to 6:25pm on Thursday would be helpful.
