ROOFTOP SINGLES
I have never celebrated Valentine's Day and never will, but that doesn't mean I don't believe in finding a sweetheart. The Howling Moon and CitySwoon dating are hosting a "find your valentine" rooftop cocktail party. Suss out the talent with five fast dates, and then play the field by mingling with up to 100 of the capital's singles for the rest of the evening. VINO IN THE PARK
Grab summer by the wine glass and join Nellies travelling bar in Tuggers. The little van is celebrating its first birthday with Vino in the Park, so bring a picnic rug, chair and even your dog to make a day of it. LIFELINE BOOKFAIR
Indulge your inner bookworm while supporting suicide prevention services at the Lifeline Bookfair. This weekend there will be thousands of fiction and non-fiction books, plus collectables, kids books and foreign language books. OBSTACLE HELL
A 5km obstacle challenge for all fitness levels might sound like heaven to you, but it's Obstacle Hell. At this Canberra leg of the challenge series, there will be mud, there will be music and there will most certainly be mayhem.
