An ACT Supreme Court jury on Friday found David Kisun, 72, guilty of four counts of indecent assault.
Kisun was acquitted of a fifth count.
Justice David Mossop continued Kisun's bail to reappear for sentence in court next week.
Kisun was on trial for allegedly indecently touching three boys at Canberra's Marist College between 1981 and 1982.
He had pleaded not guilty to five counts of indecent assault.
The court heard Kisun had put his hands inside the Canberra students' shirts to touch their chests and rub their thighs or groin, both inside and outside their clothing.
The boys did not report the behaviour at the time as they had feared the teacher, the court heard.
Jurors deliberated for about three hours on Friday before returning their verdict.
Kisun had faced trial in the ACT Supreme Court on similar offences last year, where jurors acquitted Kisun on one count but had been unable to come to a decision on two counts on the indictment.
The latest trial included two of those allegations, plus three fresh indictments after new victims came forward as a result of media attention generated during the first proceeding.
