Police are again asking the public for help in the search for missing six-year-old boy Phoenix Mapham and have serious concerns for his wellbeing.

Phoenix was first reported missing five days ago and has not been seen since about 1.30pm on Thursday August 23, when he was being driven away from Hickey Court in Weston Creek in a white 1999 Holden Vectra sedan with registration YAU56P.
The driver of the car is suspected to be Phoenix's mother Tessa Woodcock and the pair are believed to be in either the ACT or in New South Wales. Police said Phoenix is not in the lawful custody of his mother and they want to find him due to serious concerns for his wellbeing.
Phoenix and his mother could also be travelling in a blue Subaru Forester or a similar vehicle, with a broken back window and damaged front end, with possible registration YKP08U.
The alert has been upgraded to an amber alert, which is used by ACT Policing to seek help from the public to find a child in either a child abduction or high risk missing child case and in situations where time is critical factor.
ACT Policing is asking anyone who has seen Phoenix, his mother, the Holden Vectra or the blue Subaru Forester, or who has any information about his whereabouts to contact them on 02 6256 7777 and use reference number 6300755.
