Law and consultancy firm Minter Ellison will be one of the first tenants to move into Capital Property Group’s $300 million precinct development when it's completed.

Constitution Place, a precinct adjacent to the ACT Legislative Assembly, will house 1600 public servants in a building closest to the parliament. Construction began at the end of last year and it is expected to be completed in mid-2020.
The 9000-square metre former car park on the corner of London Circuit and Constitution Avenue will be redeveloped into two buildings.
The Snow family's company and owner of the Canberra Airport, Capital Property Group, won the tender to build the two buildings - a five-storey government office building and another with 12 levels, including commercial offices and four levels devoted to Adina Apartment Hotel Grand, a five-star hotel with 132 rooms. It will also include basement public parking.
A laneway will have cafes and shops and connect with Canberra Theatre Centre to Constitution Avenue.
Minter Ellison will take up about 2300 square metres of office space on levels 10 and 11 of the taller commercial building. The firm will relocate from its National Circuit office when construction is completed.
In a statement, Minter Ellison's Canberra managing partner, Michael Brennan, said the building would allow the company to "continue to partner with our government and private clients based in Canberra, throughout Australia and overseas well into the future".
"The central location, proximity to public transport, court precinct and modern amenities look set to make Constitution Place a great home for Minter Ellison in Canberra."
Constitution Place will also be home to international law firm, King and Wood Mallesons.
The lease is for 13 years.
