Police said the man crashed at the corner of Anketell Street and Athllon Drive about 7.30pm.

"Unfortunately, a male has died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the [crash]," it said in a statement.

"ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team [is] examining the circumstances surrounding the [crash] and a report will be prepared for the coroner."

It is the fifth death on ACT roads this year.
