Police are hunting a man who allegedly punched a driver in the head several times whilst yelling abuse during a road rage incident in Yarralumla.

Police say the man, described as being about 20 years old with dark hair, got out of a white sedan at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Coronation Drive about 5.25pm.
He allegedly approached a blue Mazda 2 hatchback, opened the front passenger door and carried out the attack while the cars were stopped at traffic lights.
A member of the public intervened and the man got back into the white sedan, which drove away.
The alleged attacker, who police say was wearing a cap, was a passenger in the white sedan. It is understood a woman was driving.
The driver of the Mazda 2 is understood to be a man.
Before the incident at the traffic lights, the vehicles involved had travelled along Weston Park Road, Novar Street, Adelaide Avenue and the State Circle.
