Pair roll out truckloads of birthday humiliation

It's the tale of two Michaels - each trying to out-punk the other.

Canberra businessman Michael Kondouris, whose family owns the Supabarn chain, turned 40 on April 1. His good mate, fellow businessman Michael Dascarolis, has not let him forget it.

Dascarolis managed to get hold of a photograph of Kondouris fast asleep. The image was blown up, put on the side of a truck and has been paraded far and wide - including outside the fete of Kondouris's old school, Canberra Grammar, and outside Sydney Football Stadium, pictured.

Dascarolis is just getting revenge for his 40th birthday present, a video skit in which Kondouris somehow managed to convince Today presenters Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson to appear.

The Michaels are actually firm friends, and among the co-owners of horse Star Witness.
