Police call for help to identify alleged electric bike thief

Police are calling for help to identify a man who allegedly stole an electric bike in Turner on July 5.

ACT Policing said the bike was taken from the ACT Rugby Union Club car park about 2.38pm.

CCTV footage shows a white ute, possibly an older model Mazda Bravo, reverse up to where the bicycle was locked.

The alleged offender then gets out of the car and cuts the lock before putting the bike in the vehicle and driving off.

At the time, the man was wearing a dark baseball cap, grey hooded jumper, blue jeans and distinctive shoes with red stripes.
