Police investigating a suspicious fire at an under-construction house in Canberra are looking for a car seen in the area at the time of the blaze.

Officers were called to Slim Dusty Circuit in Moncrieff about 10.30pm on Thursday, May 17.
Firefighters also attended and extinguished the blaze, before referring it to police as suspicious.
ACT Policing said officers had followed several leads and were now seeking information on a dark-coloured SUV seen in the area before and after the fire.
