A Canberra man was remanded in custody on Friday after police allegedly found stolen AFP badges, a bolt-action rifle and 1500 rounds of ammunuition during a raid on a Higgins home.

Daniel Jol Baxter, 30, was in the driveway sitting in a white Toyota Landcruiser with number plates registered to a Mitsubish Magna when police raided the home about 11am Thursday.
A search of the home uncovered two police badges, a sawn-off shotgun, a bolt-action rifle, a "stop tick" tyre deflation device, and three cars, police said.
Police also discovered about 1500 rounds of ammunition for various firearms.
Mr Baxter appeared briefly in the ACT Magistrates Court but did not apply for bail.
He was charged with 13 offences including four counts of possession of stolen property, unauthorised possession of firearms and prohibited firearms, possession of ammunition, possession of a prohibited substance, driving while disqualified and ride or drive a motor vehicle without consent.
He is due back in court on October 26.
