A Canberra uncle's gender reveal burnout has burnt a significant hole in his pocket, after he received more than $1500 in fines for the stunt that took place in May.

Andrew William Coleman, 24, of Gordon, pleaded guilty to aggravated dangerous driving, causing an environmental nuisance and not providing his details when questioned by police.
Coleman received $1700 in fines, a 12-month good behaviour bond and an automatic licence disqualification of 12 months.
He was arrested after ACT Policing received information from their NSW counterparts when footage of the burnout surfaced.
Coleman performed the burnout in Ampt Place, Theodore, as part of a gender reveal party for his pregnant half-sister.
There has been a growing trend of revealing a baby's gender with a burnout, which emits either blue or pink smoke.
In the footage, a green ute is visible in the street while the pregnant woman is in a driveway facing away from the vehicle.
Coleman then begins to rev the engine loudly as blue smoke quickly engulfs the street and squeals of excitement are heard off camera.
The ute completes at least two 360-degree turns before being hidden by the smoke. Court documents showed the police estimated the plume of smoke to be at least 15 metres wide and reach 20 metres into the air.
Loud revving continues to be heard in the video after the ute disappears and more smoke is created.
The documents showed police believed Coleman caused the ute to have a sustained loss of traction while there were onlookers standing nearby and up to five cars parked in the vicinity.
The charge of aggravated dangerous driving was applied as there was a pedestrian standing within metres of the ute while Coleman performed the burnout.
Four black tyre marks are visible on the road as the smoke clears in the video. Coleman then begins to slowly drive up the driveway towards onlookers, including his half-sister, while continuing to rev the engine with more smoke emitted.
The court documents said police officers interviewed a nearby resident, who told them the noise of the burnout had woken her young children and her house had been filled with smoke. She said washing hung outside had to be re-washed as it had been filled with smoke residue.
Coleman was identified as the driver by three witnesses who were at the gender reveal party, including his father. When Coleman was later questioned by police he refused to provide the details of the driver.
Earlier this year a gender reveal party gone wrong caused a 19,000-hectare forest fire in the US state of Arizona. In that instance an explosive substance was used to shower coloured powder into the air, but also ignited the blaze.
