A total fire ban has been declared for the ACT by the Emergency Services Agency until midnight on Tuesday.

The agency has forecast a "very high" fire danger for the ACT, with a predicted maximum temperature of 39 degrees.
"Fire burning in very high [fire danger] conditions can be difficult to control. Flames may be higher than rooftops," a spokesperson for the agency said.
"Expect embers to be blown around. Spot fires may occur up to 4 kilometres ahead of the main fire."
Extreme heatwave conditions have been forecast with the capital, with three days above 40 degrees expected this week.
If a fire starts, leaving early is the safest option for survival, the agency said in a statement.
The following nature reserve have been closed during the fire ban: Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, parts of Namadgi National Park, Googong Foreshores, Kowen Forest, Lower Molonglo Corridor, the Molonglo Gorge Nature Reserve, Mulligans Flat Woodlands Sancturary and the Centenary Trail between Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve and Hall
Apollo Road Orroral Road, Old Mill Road, Warks Road, Mount Franklin Road and the Corin Dam Road have been closed in the Namadgi National Park during the fire ban.
The Tidbinbilla and Namadgi visitor centres remain open, along with swimming areas at the Cotter and along the Murrumbidgee River.
Kambah Pool, Pine Island, Point Hut and Uriarra Crossing remain open.
