Car flips and rolls in crash on Sydney Harbour Bridge

A car has flipped onto its roof after reportedly colliding with a tollbooth on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Two ambulances were called to the Milsons Point side of the bridge, shortly after 2.30pm, to reports of a car rollover on citybound lanes seven and eight, a spokesman for NSW Ambulance said.

"It appears the car has hit one of those old tollbooths and rolled," he said.

Paramedics were preparing to treat two patients, but the passengers inside the car escaped with only minor injuries and did not require treatment or transport.

One southbound lane was closed for about 30 minutes while the crash was cleared and the vehicle towed.
