A 15-year-old boy has died after the car he was a passenger in veered off the road, hit a parked car and crashed into a house on Brisbane's northside.

The two other occupants of the car fled the scene. One of them was later found injured and police said they know who the other occupant was and will seek a formal statement from them.
The car careered off Appleby Road in Stafford about 2am, crashed through a fence and hit the front of a house.
The 15-year-old boy was declared dead at the scene. Another teenage boy who was in the car was later found and taken to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Appleby Road was closed between Stafford Road and Redwood Streets and did not reopen until almost 11 hours after the crash.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations were continuing.
