A 53-year-old jogger who was hit by a car in the south Brisbane suburb of Tarragindi is fighting for life in hospital in an induced coma after suffering critical injuries.

Police said the Tarragindi man was jogging along Strathfield Street about 4.30am on Monday when he was believed to have been hit by a vehicle.
He was then taken to Princess Alexandra hospital.
Police were urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the area to come forward.
The man was shirtless and wearing navy blue running shorts and blue running shoes.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
