In the latest incident, the Sunshine Coast-based rescue chopper was called to Table Top Mountain, near Toowoomba, on Sunday afternoon after reports a man had fallen about 10 metres while hiking with friends.
The rescue helicopter was initially able to land on top of the mountain.
The aeromedical crew then walked about 100 metres down a track to assess the patient, a man aged in his 20s.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics had already begun treating the man for a possible fractured ankle, cuts and abrasions.
Crews decided it would not be feasible to carry the patient down the mountain, so he was secured in a stretcher.
The helicopter flew overhead and winched the patient and LifeFight's critical care doctor into the chopper.
The flight paramedic was then winched up separately.
The patient was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
On Saturday afternoon, the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFight Rescue helicopter winched a woman from a walking track in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The helicopter was called to the area, near Springbrook, just after noon.
It was believed the woman, aged in her 30s, slipped and injured her leg while hiking alone.
She was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
