A two-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway, which caused heavy delays on the Riverside Expressway, Captain Cook Bridge and Brisbane city, has been cleared but several other crashes have built up traffic.

The two-car prang at Woolloongabba blocked the right southbound lane just after the Vulture Street off-ramp for about one hour on Wednesday, which led to traffic delays slowly building through North Quay and Coronation Drive.

Australian Traffic Network spokesman Ben Mihan said despite the crash clearing, more crashes had prompted a congested afternoon on the roads.
"A broken-down car at Oxley westbound on the Ipswich Motorway has caused delays to Moorooka while a bus that hit two cars at Mitchelton on Osbourne Road, near the Sussex Street train station, has slowed the roads down," he said.
"There is also an accident at Springwood on the M1 on-ramp southbound that has caused traffic from Fitzgerald Avenue to Eight Mile Plains and Mackenzie."
