A Brisbane rail line has reopened after buses were forced to replace trains while emergency repairs were carried out on an overhead power line.

Customers experienced hour-long delays as Queensland Rail crews worked to fix the loose power line anchor at Cannon Hill station, in Brisbane's east.
Cleveland line services were suspended about 7.15am on Saturday between Park Road and Manly and the line did not reopen until four hours later.
QR had initially said that trains may not return to normal until sometime in the afternoon, but crews got the job done ahead of schedule.
"Customers, please be advised that due to a dewirement of the overhead power line at Cannon Hill, buses are replacing trains between Park Road and Manly," QR said in their initial message.
"Our crews are on site working to repair the overhead power equipment, which includes a detached power line anchor, as quickly as possible.
"At this stage, we expect repairs to be completed and services restored by this afternoon. We thank customers for their patience and are online and available to assist with any service enquiries."
