The crash happened and the road was closed about 9.15am.

Earlier: The Inner City Bypass is closed westbound due to a car crash and car fire.

It is understood two cars crashed about 9.15am with one then catching fire.
Emergency services are on the scene.
There were no reports of life-threatening injuries.
